Trinity Faith-Based University, as a religious institution, is exempt from regulation by the Indiana Commission on Proprietary Education. Its primary focus is to create schools of human services. The anchor program for Trinity University is housed in the School of Alcohol and Drugs which is approved by NAADAC (The Association for Addiction Professionals).

Trinity has collaborated with Rhonda McKillip, M.Ed., LMHC, MAC, CCDC III, CDP and Dr. Tommy Williams (Ph.D. in Alcohol and Drugs) to formulate a four module Associate's, Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D degree program designed to meet the needs of persons wanting to become nationally certified addiction counselors.

In addition to the Trinity University AA, BA, MA, and PhD Degree
in alcohol and drugs counseling, CEUs from NAADAC and College credit can be designed for group or individuals. Trinity Faith Based University can
train interested persons to become certified trainers and presenters
for NAADAC/NACoA Caregivers Certification.
